We are Image Church and we exist to reflect the love of Jesus, one life at a time. You can join us on Sundays and Wednesdays as God moves us forward to spread His Kingdom. This section will help you find out more about what to expect when you come to a service at Image. We know it can be a little uncomfortable to visit a church for the first time, but we hope that by answering some of your questions it will make you feel better about visiting us. What denomination are you?
Image Church is an Non-denominational church, all denominations are welcome to worship with us based on the universality of the cross and blood of Jesus Christ. Image Church is affiliated with Evangel Fellowship International
founded by Bishop Houston Miles in 1983.
Do you have membership?
While we believe that every believer that walks through our doors is part of the family of the Body of Christ, we do have a formal membership at Image Church. If you would like to join Image Church you may fill out this form. Or, you may approach any one of the ushers, deacons, or staff to express your desire.
Each new member will have the opportunity to attend our 411 class (the dates for this are TBA). Upon completion, we invite you to plug in and become a part of the ministry of Image, exercising the gifts and callings God has placed on your life.
How do you do worship?
Worship at Image Church is both celebratory and deeply meaningful. We believe God is looking for those who will worship Him sincerely out of grateful hearts (John 4:24). You will find that we sing new, contemporary songs as well as some of the hymns of the faith. We love to worship here, not only to sing about the Lord, but to Him!
How do I dress?
People are free to dress in the manner they feel most comfortable. We’re more concerned with meeting your spiritual needs than what you wear.
Do we have services for the kids?
Yes we do. The youth join us for praise and worship in the sanctuary but will be dismissed for youth service. The kids will go right into their own service at 10:30. Nursery is provided for all ages. To learn more about these different ministries go to the ministry pages on web site.
I need prayer/advice, who do I talk to?
We have different resources depending on your needs and requests. On Sundays, we usually have a ministry team available that is near the front of the stage after service or you may come and talk to the pastor for prayer. During the week, you can contact the office at 704-844-8733 or you may submit your prayer requests on the site and the prayer team/staff will pray for your needs.
