What opportunities are available?

Image Church has many areas of ministry that are made up of multiple volunteer teams who serve on Sundays, Wednesday and during the week. Sign up for one of the teams below and someone will contact you about your next step.

Guest Services

Greeting Team

Welcome guests from the parking lot to the sanctuary.  Time Commitment: 30 minutes before and 10 minutes after a service, every week or every other week. Arrive 30 minutes before the service.  Age Requirement: 12 years old.

First Impressions

A family's first impression of Image Church is so important! They are welcomed by friendly faces who guide them to our first timer representative to answer any questions they may have. These volunteers ensure that each person in their family is properly led to their age–appropriate environment.  Age Requirement: 18 years old

Guest Service Desk Team

Provide details about Image Church to the guests at each service.  

Time Commitment: 20 minutes before and 15 minutes after a service, every week or every other week. Arrive 30 minutes before the service.  Age Requirement: 18 years old.  

Usher Team

Guide people to the nearest available seat in a quick and orderly fashion and takes up the offering.  

Time Commitment: 30 minutes before a service and the last 20-30 minutes of the service, every week or every other week. Arrive 30 minutes before the service. Age Requirement: 18 years old.

Parking Team

Welcomes and directs guests to a parking place, and keeps traffic flowing smoothly. Time Commitment: 1 hour on Sunday, every week or every other week. Arrive 60 minutes before the service. Age Requirement: 18 years old.  

Office Team

Support every area of ministry by making phone calls, stuffing envelopes, organizing supplies or completing a number of administrative tasks. Time Commitment: Anytime 9am-5pm weekdays, or during a Sunday service as needed.

Guest Services teams believe that first impressions make a huge impact. These teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at Image Church.

Discipleship

Groups Study Leader*

Leads and hosts a group discussion in their home for six weeks (several times a year). Enjoys meeting new people and engaging in conversation. Time Commitment: 3 hours at night once a week for six weeks.

Are you comfortable leading a bible study or guiding new believers through their next steps? If you are, you might be a good fit for the discipleship team.

Childrens

Nursery*

Babies and toddlers are in a constant state of wonder as they begin to experience and learn about God’s love through the people in their lives and the world in which they live. The Nursery is a soft, colorful environment that is staffed with caring adult volunteers who communicate and display God’s love to each child.

IKids*

IKids captures the creativity of the young generation of our church and allows them to learn about God in an interactive way. They will experience age-appropriate activity stations, small group lessons, worship and creative Bible teaching. In this environment they're encouraged to take that step in living out their faith at home, school and wherever life takes them. *requires background check

Our Children's Ministry volunteers are people with a passion to see children experience Jesus on their level. Volunteers serve kids, birth through fifth grade, in safe, age–appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. There are many opportunities to serve on Sundays and Wednesday.

318 Youth

Youth leader*

Someone who loves to work with middle school and high school students and desciple them into the men and women of God that they are called to be.      

Student Production*

Take the worship experience to another level by running computers, cameras,  recording the service or maybe even running some lighting effects. Time Commitment: Sunday morning service and Every Cross Roads night . Age Requirement: at least a Junior in High School.

This ministry is for volunteers who have a heart to see High School and Middle School students grow and fall in love with Jesus daily.  

Building Support

Facilities

Help maintain the day-to-day operations of the facilities areas; may include general electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting repair, building repair, changing light bulbs, furniture assembly and more. Time Commitment: As available Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm. Age Requirement: 18 years old.  

These team members are involved with overall repair, maintenance and upkeep for indoor and outdoor premises.

Care & Outreach

Weekday Prayer Team

Prays for the prayer requests received on Sunday throughout the rest of the week. Time Commitment: 1 hour throughout the week.

Altar Team

Available for ministing to those who come to altar or would like ministry time after service. Time Commitment: 30 minutes on Sunday, every week or every other week.   

From prayer and encouragement to community projects, these teams serve people in need of love and support.

Creative & Technical Arts

Production Team

The Production Team takes the worship experience to another level. This team includes all things technical involved with the media presentation of every Sunday and some events throughout the week. Some of the many responsibilities of this team include running computers, cameras, recording the service, and even some lighting effects.

From operating cameras and sound to trouble-shooting computer issues, the Creative and Technical Arts teams use their skills in media production and technology to keep Image Church on the cutting edge.
