Seeds. What do you think about when you hear this word? Grains, corn, pits in grapes, cherries or some other fruit. Yes these are seeds but our words, actions, thoughts and deeds are seeds as well. Everything we say or do are seeds, good or bad, sown in our lives as well as the lives of others. Sunday we started our series on seeds. We learned that seeds can live a long time in a dormant state. So when you think about the word-seeds you sow, don't think that just because there is no immediate effect that there won't be an effect somewhere down the road. Do you really think about how your words and your actions are effecting you, your children, your family or those you come in contact with on a daily basis. When you think about these as seeds that will sprout and grow in the right environment, you should first consider everything you say or do. The Bible says that the power of death and life is in the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) We all sow seeds intentionally or unintentionally everyday. Let's be intentionally sowing good seeds all the time. No matter how hard that seems, remember that "all things are possible through Christ". Have a blessed day! Pastor Bill
